Ok..you finally realize that it was time to make a change and lost weight. Good you're on the right track! You head out to that big, full service gym for a new membership. With that new membership in hand..you tell all your close friends and family about your new journey. At this point you are so pumped, you buy new running shoes and clothes. Hey..why not?
Now..your ready for the first day of the rest of your life. You walk in the gym in your new shoes with your new membership and new attitude. That's when it hits you! You have to workout around all these lean and active people. You start worring about who's watching you or if someone is judging you.
How can you workout like that?
Worry will cloud your mind and you'll forget all about motivation.
Soon, your gym membership card will just collect dust somewhere..

Body Exchange fitness center.
Body Exchange is a plus-size only fitness center. Located in Vancouver, it's the only fitness center to cater to plus-size women. Green wanted to make a "Safe Haven" for plus size women to get active. She understood that getting in shape can be intimidating. With 3 bootcamp sessions a week, she wants to help women reach their goals and not have "embarrrassment" be the reason why they can't get there. She plans monthly, local adventures such as hiking and cycling. Bringing in different elements to lose weight. Taking it a step further, Green has hosted a fitness retreat in Tulum, Mexico. Burning calories with an amazing view! Green says that it's been so popular that theres already a waiting list for the 3rd retreat.
